Uzzi is a given name. One derivation is biblical, from Uzzî (Hebrew: עֻזִּי) meaning "my strength". The name can also be transliterated as Uzi. It may be a nickname for Uzza/Uzzah, Uzzia/Uzziah, and Uziel/Uzziel.
