ARPANET
Το ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) ήταν το πρώτο στον κόσμο δίκτυο μεταγωγής πακέτου και το δίκτυο πυρήνας ενός συνόλου που θα συνέθετε το παγκόσμιο Διαδίκτυο (internet).
