Les grecsduroi are a celebrated and influential Greek typeface cut by the French punchcutter Claude Garamond between 1541 and 1550. Arthur Tilley calls the books printed from them "among the most finished specimens of typography that exist".
The Bâtiments duRoi (, "King's Buildings") was a division of the Maison duRoi ("King's Household") in France under the Ancien Régime. It was responsible for building works at the King's residences in and around Paris.
