Radioteatro

El radioteatro (sinónimo de radionovela y también llamado radio comedia, comedia radiofónica, teatro radiofónico o audiodrama) es un tipo de contenido radiofónico de contenido teatral o fantástico.[1]​ Al carecer de componentes visuales, los radioteatros dependen del diálogo, la música y los efectos de sonido para ayudar al oyente a imaginar la historia.

Gracias a la radionovela tuvo un gran desarrollo entre 1920 y 1940 convirtiéndose en una forma de entretenimiento popular a nivel mundial. Con la llegada de la televisión, a mediados del siglo xx decayó progresivamente hasta ocupar una pequeña parcela en la programación de espacios de entretenimiento.[2]
