WIKIMEDIA DISAMBIGUATION PAGE
Hydrogen-ion; Hydrogen ions; Hydrogen Ion; Ionised hydrogen; Ionized hydrogen

Natural hydrogen
THE MOLECULAR HYDROGEN THAT OCCURS IN NATURE
Draft:Natural hydrogen; Native hydrogen
Natural hydrogen (known as white hydrogen), is naturally occurring molecular hydrogen on or in Earth (as opposed to hydrogen produced in the laboratory or in industry). The name white hydrogen distinguishes it from green hydrogen, which is produced from renewable energy sources, and from grey, brown or black hydrogen, which is obtained from fossil sources or from the electrolysis of water.
Isotopes of hydrogen
  • A deuterium atom contains one proton, one neutron, and one electron.
  • A tritium atom contains one proton, two neutrons, and one electron.
  • diproton]] for a discussion of why others do not exist)
HYDROGEN WITH DIFFERENT NUMBERS OF NEUTRONS
Hydrogen-1; Hydrogen-4; Hydrogen-5; Hydrogen-7; Hydrogen-6; Quadium; Isotopes of Hydrogen; Hydrogen isotope; Hydrogen isotopes; Quadrium; Protium (isotope); Isotope of hydrogen
Hydrogen (1H) has three naturally occurring isotopes, sometimes denoted , , and . and are stable, while has a half-life of years.
Hydrofluoric
  • alt=graph showing trend-breaking water and HF boiling points: big jogs up versus a trend that is down with lower molecular weight for the other series members.
  • alt=graph showing humps of melting temperature, most prominent is at HF 50% mole fraction
  • HF burns, not evident until a day after
  • The structure of chains of HF in crystalline hydrogen fluoride.
CHEMICAL COMPOUND
Hydrogen flouride; Hydrogen Fluoride; Fluorane; Fluorine hydride; Hydrofluoric
·adj Pertaining to, or containing, hydrogen and fluorine; fluohydric; as, hydrofluoric acid.

Hydrogen ion

A hydrogen ion is created when a hydrogen atom loses or gains an electron. A positively charged hydrogen ion (or proton) can readily combine with other particles and therefore is only seen isolated when it is in a gaseous state or a nearly particle-free space. Due to its extremely high charge density of approximately 2×1010 times that of a sodium ion, the bare hydrogen ion cannot exist freely in solution as it readily hydrates, i.e., bonds quickly. The hydrogen ion is recommended by IUPAC as a general term for all ions of hydrogen and its isotopes. Depending on the charge of the ion, two different classes can be distinguished: positively charged ions and negatively charged ions.
