Clapp oscillator
ELECTRONIC OSCILLATOR
Gouriet oscillator
The Clapp oscillator or Gouriet oscillator is an LC electronic oscillator that uses a particular combination of an inductor and three capacitors to set the oscillator's frequency. LC oscillators use a transistor (or vacuum tube or other gain element) and a positive feedback network.
Quantum harmonic oscillator
  • Time evolution of the probability distribution (and phase, shown as color) of a coherent state with |''α''|=3.
  • Superposition of three oscillating dipoles- illustrate the time propagation of the common wave function for different n,l,m
  • Another illustration of the time propagation of the common wave function for three different atoms emphasizes the effect of the angular momentum on the distribution behavior
QUANTUM MECHANICAL MODEL OF A PARTICLE IN A HARMONIC POTENTIAL WELL
Quantum vibration; QHO; Quantum mechanical harmonic oscillator; Quadratic potential; Harmonic potential; Quantum oscillator; Harmonic oscillator (quantum); Quantum-mechanical harmonic oscillator; Time-dependent quantum harmonic oscillator with an applied linear electric field; Linear harmonic oscillator; Quantum harmonic oscillators
The quantum harmonic oscillator is the quantum-mechanical analog of the classical harmonic oscillator. Because an arbitrary smooth potential can usually be approximated as a harmonic potential at the vicinity of a stable equilibrium point, it is one of the most important model systems in quantum mechanics.
Multichannel analyzer
  • The output of an MCA used in pulse-height analysis mode to analyze a [[Cs-137]] source
GAMMA RAY SPECTROSCOPY SYSTEM FOR MEASURING COUNTS AT DIFFERENT VOLTAGE LEVELS
User:Crh23/sandbox/Multichannel Analyzer; Multichannel Analyzer; Multichannel analyser
A multichannel analyzer (MCA) is an instrument used in laboratory and field applications to analyze an input signal consisting of voltage pulses. MCAs are used extensively in digitizing various spectroscopy measurements, especially those related to nuclear physics, including various types of spectroscopy (alpha-, beta-, and gamma spectroscopy).
Optical parametric oscillator
  • Infrared optical parametric oscillator
  • KTP]] crystals in an OPO
PARAMETRIC OSCILLATOR THAT OSCILLATES AT OPTICAL FREQUENCIES
Optical Parametric Oscillator; Optical parametric oscillation
An optical parametric oscillator (OPO) is a parametric oscillator that oscillates at optical frequencies. It converts an input laser wave (called "pump") with frequency \omega_p into two output waves of lower frequency (\omega_s, \omega_i) by means of second-order nonlinear optical interaction.
Dynatron oscillator
  • Dynatron oscillator circuit
ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT THAT DO NOT USE FEEDBACK TO GENERATE OSCILLATIONS, BUT NEGATIVE RESISTANCE
NDR oscillator; Transitron oscillator
In electronics, the dynatron oscillator, invented in 1918 by Albert Hull at General Electric, is an obsolete vacuum tube electronic oscillator circuit which uses a negative resistance characteristic in early tetrode vacuum tubes, caused by a process called secondary emission. on Peter Millet's Tubebooks website It was the first negative resistance vacuum tube oscillator.

CELLULAR AUTOMATON PATTERN THAT RETURNS TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE AND POSITION AFTER A FINITE NUMBER OF STEPS
Oscillator (CA)
In a cellular automaton, an oscillator is a pattern that returns to its original state, in the same orientation and position, after a finite number of generations. Thus the evolution of such a pattern repeats itself indefinitely.
Electronic oscillator
  • 1 MHz electronic oscillator circuit which uses the resonant properties of an internal quartz crystal to control the frequency. Provides the [[clock signal]] for digital devices such as computers.
  • Two common LC oscillator circuits, the Hartley and Colpitts oscillators

  • A 120 MHz oscillator from 1938 using a parallel rod [[transmission line]] resonator ([[Lecher line]]). Transmission lines are widely used for UHF oscillators.
ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT THAT PRODUCES A REPETITIVE, OSCILLATING ELECTRONIC SIGNAL
Audio oscillators; Audio oscillator; Electrical oscillator; LC oscillator; Electronic oscillators; Vacuum tube oscillator; Oscillator (electronics); Feedback oscillator
An electronic oscillator is an electronic circuit that produces a periodic, oscillating electronic signal, often a sine wave or a square wave or a triangle wave. Oscillators convert direct current (DC) from a power supply to an alternating current (AC) signal.
Local oscillator
In electronics, a local oscillator (LO) is an electronic oscillator used with a mixer to change the frequency of a signal. This frequency conversion process, also called heterodyning, produces the sum and difference frequencies from the frequency of the local oscillator and frequency of the input signal.

Multichannel marketing

Multichannel marketing is the blending of different distribution and promotional channels for the purpose of marketing. Distribution channels include a retail storefront, a website, or a mail-order catalogue.

Multichannel marketing is about choice. The objective of the companies doing the marketing is to make it easy for a consumer to buy from them in whatever way is most appropriate.

To be effective, multichannel marketing needs to be supported by good supply chain management systems, so that the details and prices of goods on offer are consistent across the different channels. It might also be supported by detailed analysis of the return on investment from each different channel, measured in terms of customer response and conversion of sales. The contribution each channel delivers to sales can be assessed via Marketing Mix Modeling or via attribution modelling. Some companies target certain channels at different demographic segments of the market or at different socio-economic groups of consumers.

Multichannel marketing allows the retail merchant to reach its prospective or current customer in a channel of his/ her liking.
