A closed city or closed town, not to be confused with a gated community, is a settlement where travel or residency restrictions are applied so that specific authorization is required to visit or remain overnight. Such places may be sensitive military establishments or secret research installations that require much more space or internal freedom than is available in a conventional military base.
Closed set
SET WHOSE COMPLEMENT IS AN OPEN SET
Closed subset; Closed (topology); Closed sets; Closed (mathematics)
In geometry, topology, and related branches of mathematics, a closed set is a set whose complement is an open set. In a topological space, a closed set can be defined as a set which contains all its limit points.

Cartesian closed category
TYPE OF CATEGORY IN CATEGORY THEORY
Cartesian-closed category; Cartesian closed; Cartesian closed categories; Locally cartesian closed category; Cartesian closedness; Bicartesian closed category
In category theory, a category is Cartesian closed if, roughly speaking, any morphism defined on a product of two objects can be naturally identified with a morphism defined on one of the factors. These categories are particularly important in mathematical logic and the theory of programming, in that their internal language is the simply typed lambda calculus.

VARIANT OF PARTY-LIST VOTING SYSTEM
Closed party list; Closed-list; Closed list proportional
Closed list describes the variant of party-list systems where voters can effectively only vote for political parties as a whole; thus they have no influence on the party-supplied order in which party candidates are elected. If voters had some influence, that would be called an open list.

Topological conjugacy
Topologically equivalent; Topological equivalence (dynamical systems); Topologically conjugate; Topologically semiconjugate; Topologically semi-conjugate; Topological conjugation; Topologically conjugate functions
In mathematics, two functions are said to be topologically conjugate if there exists a homeomorphism that will conjugate the one into the other. Topological conjugacy, and related-but-distinct of flows, are important in the study of iterated functions and more generally dynamical systems, since, if the dynamics of one iterative function can be determined, then that for a topologically conjugate function follows trivially.

Closure (topology)

In topology, the closure of a subset S of points in a topological space consists of all points in S together with all limit points of S. The closure of S may equivalently be defined as the union of S and its boundary, and also as the intersection of all closed sets containing S. Intuitively, the closure can be thought of as all the points that are either in S or "very near" S. A point which is in the closure of S is a point of closure of S. The notion of closure is in many ways dual to the notion of interior.
